Sorry for the BawldSilence. I’ve experienced a series of local internet server glitches. The good news is, it was generated from outside gremlins, not their evil ‘puter cousins. After some rumblin’ and grumblin’ by the master geek, we’re back.
We sometimes lose track of how much we rely on the internet. Not me. Not today.
I’ll be posting later today, as soon as I can.
Thanks!

You’ve really got to get rid of the old dial-up connection Jeff.
Today we have small wireless cards that plug into our laptops and we can get Internet almost anywhere. We have cell phones that can access the net.
I would recommend you complement the dial-up with blog carrier pigeons to ensure those of us who eat and breath your every word don’t die from a severe case of knowledge starvation.
Dang, should have thought of this before clicking submit.. maybe you need some Internet Sominex too.
Stop it — yer killin’ me.
I can haz intertubz too?
Maybe you should sign your soul over to Greg’s WEB 2 point yadda yadda for the promise of eternal and high search engine results.
Crackin’ up. Haven’t yet looked into the new offering, but will be curious to investigate.
No! It’s a trap! [Just kidding.]
Seriously though, my honest advice is to keep doing what you do and do best.
I’m not being vindictive or even negative to anyone when I say track record counts. You, for instance, deserve any benefit of the doubt because you have a traceable history. I envy that reputation. There are, however, those that need more scrutiny.
Sadly the future won’t have anywhere near the persistence of quality we even have today. You (we) will have to continously prove ourselves again and again.
The only redeeming aspect here is that my praise in this instance is not even remotely suspect. We have no relationship and my history shows that praise has never been misplaced. Keep helping people Jeff and make money while doing so.
I was kind of wondering where you went, but I knew you were around. I know the feeling, Straight Talk disappeared off the server for about 15 hours last Friday. Not only could I not post, no one could read it.
By the way, I strongly recommend that you invest in one of those wireless broadband things that Josh is talking about. Very very useful.
Tom
Very much appreciated, Robert. You’ve made my day. Don’t expect me to be changing anything here, as I’m happy with the status quo.
Also, my blog/web geek is hall of fame. No need to go off anywhere.
Tom — I’m so constantly connected I become lax, until something like this happens. Think maybe Santa’s gonna bring me something this year.
