For those of us who celebrate Christmas — May your day fill you with the joy of your childhood, the excitement of your kids (or grandkids), and the kind of warmth that can only come from giving. I wish it was possible for everyone to delight in the awesome look of a six year old getting exactly what they told Santa they wanted. Or how ’bout 75 year old Grandma sitting at the Christmas dinner table basking in the love of her family – who adore her. There’s nothing like Christmas with family. Especially when the wife, God Bless her, is making turducken for dinner! And her early Christmas present to me? Simply the best I’ve ever been given since I stopped believing in Santa.

Merry Christmas.

Oh, I almost forgot — GO CHARGERS!!

I imagine the Sunday game against the Seahawks restored your faith in Santa Claus.

Happy New Year from a downtrodden, defeated, and desperate Cardinals fan.

Brian – I think that win had to be beyond Santa. It was almost divine. :-)

Of course in SD we’re so used to losing games like that it was bound to come out in our favor sooner or later. Now, if we can just figure a way to beat the Ravens we might find ourselves playing in February!

By the way Brian, I’ve been a little under the weather lately, which I will use as a handy excuse for just now noticing you’re also from SD. We need to talk.

This coming Sunday you should take a walk at the bay, or visit a friend. We’re playing the Cardinals, and I’m not expecting it to be pretty.

  9. Merry Belated Christmas Jeff!

Looks we both found the same image!

Same to you Mike. Maybe we can have lunch next week.

  11. bawldguy says:

Mike – We probably had a better chance of winning the lottery than finding the same image for the same type post.

  12. Cher says:

Happy New Year, Jeff. We’ll be thinking of you all from up on the Hill.
This is the year you went back to believing in Santa, right?
What in the world is turducken?

  13. bawldguy says:

Oh man, you gotta try it. It’s a turkey, duck, and chicken, all de-boned and stuffed into each other. The chicken into the duck, into the turkey. Inside the chicken, and between the duck and turkey was Cajon sausage and corn stuffing.

    Oh my…….

We’re going out this year to do some damage. I’m already getting my dancing shoes polished.
