To Fathers Everywhere

The unsung benefit most fathers bring to the table is leadership, and the ability to remain calm when others are anxious. How many of us look back at parts of our childhoods, only to realize we were sheltered from the real world of adults? This is part of the job description. Kids grow up too fast as it is, so allowing them a bit more time to be kids is a gift, priceless in nature. Ironically, we often don’t realize we’ve received this gift ’till we have our own kids.

I’m sure that epiphany has been hitting dads since there have been dads.

So to all you guys out there who’ve done your best to keep your kids alive and well in Kiddyland — I offer you my salute and most profound respect and admiration. It’s a lot easier said than done.

Happy Father’s Day, Bawld Guy! I will tell Steve about the calm part. I think he missed the memo. :)

Yeah, I’ve ‘misplaced’ that memo a few times myself. :)

    Happy Father’s Day Steve.
